Wrist Watch Designs

- Swiss Military Hanowa watch. How do I remove some of the links out of the watch? Small screwdriver doesnt work?
I can use a screw driver on the open and close part of the wrist band. But the links dont have a push pin like bar inside so I cant remove the links like you can with the open and closing part of the band. I know you can adjust the wrist band slightly by the open and closing part of the wrist band which I did but I need it to be smaller and the bar thats inside of the open and closing part is a push pin like thing, on all most all watches but the links dont have that type of thing in them so I dont know how to take them out. I went to a jeweler and they want $20 to do it and Im like I dont think so. Help please, Thanks.
